🛍️ Shopify Designer & Migration Specialist — Remote, Project-Based (Potential Ongoing)

Riskit Design is an e-commerce and content creation brand that is in the middle of an exciting upgrade! Part of our transition includes moving our online shop and home website from Squarespace to Shopify. We're looking for someone who can take the lead on this migration, help bring our design ideas we have to life for the site, and while also helping to set us up for long-term success on the platform.

The ideal person loves web design, creative businesses, understands the importance of making the website easy to use and navigate for the customers, is detail-oriented, easy to talk to, and is confident in their skills on the Shopify platform. You'll be responsible for:

  • Migrating our existing Squarespace store to Shopify Advanced

  • Setting up apps, integrations, and backend settings (payments, shipping, collections, etc.)

  • Designing or refreshing the overall look and feel of the store to match our current brand image

  • Walking us through how to use and manage Shopify independently going forward

You're a great fit if you:

  • Have completed Squarespace to Shopify migrations before

  • Are comfortable with Shopify Advanced and its ecosystem

  • Have a strong eye for design — especially for e-commerce brands with a distinct visual identity

  • Can explain things in plain English, not tech speak

  • Are proactive, communicative, and reliable

This is a project-based role with the potential to grow into an ongoing partnership for future web design related projects or roles.
